Definition: Radeon Boost

A feature in various Radeon GPUs that downrenders certain features in a scene to keep the frame rate high. For example, when the mouse is rapidly moved to another part of the screen to fire at an enemy, it is more important to keep the frame rate up than to render each element in the scene at the highest resolution. See Radeon and image sharpening.
